Veew + Zapier
The proposal was accepted. Everything else should know.
The moment a buyer says yes, the invoice, the onboarding project, the CRM stage and the celebration channel can all move on their own. Veew puts its events on Zapier, and on signed webhooks and a REST API for the tools Zapier doesn't reach.
Triggers
Four moments worth automating.
A proposal moves through a few states that matter to the rest of the company. Each one is a trigger with the document and deal attached, so the Zap's next step has what it needs without a lookup.
Accepted
The buyer accepted, which package they chose, and their note. Raise the invoice, open the project, move the deal to Closed Won.
Opened and asked
A buyer opened the document, or asked a question in it. Ping the rep, start a follow-up task, log the touch on the contact.
New deal
A deal appeared in Veew, by hand, from the CRM or from an AI app. Mirror it wherever the rest of the pipeline lives.
Actions
And the other direction.
A form submission, a booked meeting, a won opportunity: any of them can start the deal in Veew, file the notes, and create the first draft from your template. The rep opens Veew to a proposal that is already most of the way there.
- Create a deal, or find the one that already exists for that company
- Add meeting notes; Veew refreshes the deal brief from them
- Create a draft document from a template, filed under the deal
Webhooks, no Zapier required
Point any https endpoint at the same events from Settings. Every delivery is signed; failures are retried for a day.
A REST API underneath
Deals, documents, templates, insights and meeting notes over JSON, with API keys you issue and revoke yourself.
Scoped like a person, not a backdoor.
An API key acts as the admin who made it, under the same permissions they have in Veew, and can be revoked in one click. Zapier and the API create drafts only; publishing and sending stay with a person.
Veew + Zapier FAQ
What can start a Zap?
Four triggers: a buyer accepted a document, a buyer opened one (once per reader per hour), a buyer asked a question or replied, and a deal was created. Each carries the document or deal with its links, so the next step can post, log, or file it without a lookup.
What can a Zap do in Veew?
Create a deal (or find the one that already exists for that company), add meeting notes to a deal, and create a draft document from a template under a deal. Drafts are drafts: a person reviews and publishes in Veew, and nothing is sent without them.
Do I need Zapier to use the webhooks?
No. Under Settings → Integrations → API & webhooks you can point any https endpoint at the same events, pick which ones, and verify each delivery with its HMAC signature. Failed deliveries are retried for a day. The same page issues API keys for the REST API.
Which plan?
Zapier, webhooks and API keys are on the Team plan. Keys and endpoints belong to the workspace and are managed by owners and admins; a key acts as the admin who made it, under the same permissions they have in Veew.
