Connect
- 1In Fireflies (app.fireflies.ai), open Settings → MCP & API. Under Developer Settings, reveal and copy your API key. It is on every Fireflies plan, the free one included.
- 2In Veew, go to Settings → Integrations. Fireflies is under Your connections: it is yours, not the workspace's, because a Fireflies key only sees the meetings of the person who made it. Paste the key and choose Connect Fireflies.
- 3Your last 14 days of calls import straight away. The card now shows a Webhook URL and a Secret key.
Point Fireflies at Veew
Fireflies has no way for an app to sign itself up for notifications, so you tell it where to send them. This is a one-time step; skip it and Veew still checks for new summaries every few minutes.
- 1Back in Fireflies, open Integrations → Webhook (app.fireflies.ai/integrations/api/webhook) and click Configure. The old webhook field under Settings → MCP & API is deprecated; use the Integrations page.
- 2Paste the Webhook URL from the Veew card into the first field and the Secret key into the second. Under Event Subscriptions choose Meeting Summarized, then Save.
- 3From now on each finished summary arrives in Veew as soon as Fireflies is done with it. Only your own account's meetings come through this address.
What Veew does with a call
Calls with someone from outside your company file themselves against the matching deal by the people and company on the invite; a call that does not match sits on Home until you attach it to a deal or dismiss it. Internal meetings are skipped.
Veew reads Fireflies' summary, the overview, key points and action items, never the recording or the transcript. If you disconnect, remove the webhook in Fireflies too; already-synced notes stay on their deals.
