Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored in the United States. Your workspace's records and sign-ins are kept in a Supabase database in the US West (Oregon) region, and uploaded files (logos, pictures, collateral, generated PDFs) are kept in Cloudflare R2 storage in eastern North America.
The app itself runs on Cloudflare's global network, so each request is handled at a location near the person making it. That is where pages are put together on the way through; your data is stored only in the US locations above.
These are the companies that process your data to run Veew:
- Cloudflare
- What it does for Veew
- Hosting, networking and file storage
- Supabase
- What it does for Veew
- Database and authentication
- Anthropic

- AI drafting (Claude)

- Sending email, such as invites, notifications and documents you send by email
Is my data backed up?
Yes. The database is backed up every day, and the last seven daily backups are kept. Uploaded files are kept in Cloudflare R2, which stores each file redundantly.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. veew.ai is served only over HTTPS, and browsers are told to always use HTTPS for it (HSTS).
Passwords are never stored as you typed them. Account passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider. Passwords on share links are stored hashed too, which is why they never appear in an export. API keys are stored hashed and shown to you only once.
How does Veew use AI, and is my data used for training?
Veew's AI is Anthropic's Claude. It writes drafts and answers in Ask Veew, and does quick background jobs such as working out which customer an incoming call recap belongs to.
When you draft with AI, the relevant content (your deal context, call notes, Library items and brand details) is sent to Anthropic to generate the text. Under our agreement with Anthropic, it is not used to train their models.
AI drafts are suggestions. Review them before you send; you are responsible for the final document.
Who in my workspace can see what?
Every workspace has three roles. There is one owner, who can do everything, including deleting the workspace and handing ownership on. Admins manage the brand, products, templates, Library, team, billing and the data export. Members create deals and documents.
Who can see what is one switch under Settings → Team → Who can see what. Open means every member sees every deal and document. Restricted means a member sees their own work, plus deals they are on the team for. Owners and admins always see everything. Restricted needs the Team plan.
These rules are enforced in the database itself (Postgres row-level security), not only in the app, so one workspace can never read another's data.
Can Veew staff see my workspace?
Only to resolve a support case. A Veew staff member can open a time-limited view of the app as one member sees it. Each visit needs a recorded reason, ends after 30 minutes at most, shows a banner on every page, and is logged with its start, open and end.
Visits are read-only unless the staff member turns on changes for that visit. Even then, a staff visit cannot open billing, change a password or email address, send a document to buyers, invite or remove people, change roles or visibility, or export the workspace.
Where are my integration tokens kept?
When you connect a CRM, notetaker or Slack, the access tokens and webhook secrets are stored on Veew's server in a table no workspace member can read. They are never sent to your browser and are not included in the data export.
Disconnecting an integration under Settings → Integrations deletes its connection. You can also remove Veew's access from the other app's own settings.
Uploaded files
Uploaded files are served at long, unguessable web addresses so they can load inside your shared documents without the reader signing in. Anyone who has a file's exact address can open it, so treat those addresses like the share link itself.
Does Veew see my card details?
No. You pay for Veew on Stripe's secure checkout page, and invoices and card changes live under Settings → Billing → Manage billing, which is Stripe's billing portal. Veew never receives your card number.
A Pay now link on a proposal opens your own payment page (for example your Stripe, invoice or checkout link) in a new tab. The buyer's payment never passes through Veew.
How do I export my data?
Export works on every plan, once every 10 minutes per workspace. It leaves out share-link passwords, integration tokens and billing details (your invoices are under Manage billing).
- 1Go to Settings → Workspace. Only owners and admins can export.
- 2Under Export your data, choose Export your data. A ZIP downloads with everything in the workspace: documents with their content, templates, deals, contacts, meeting notes, share links and their engagement, Library, products, fields and brand, one JSON file per table, and a README.
- 3Uploaded files are not bundled. files.csv lists each one with its size, upload date and a link to download it.
How do I hand the workspace to someone else?
The owner opens Settings → Team and chooses Make owner on another member's row. They become the owner and you become an admin. The subscription stays with the workspace.
How do I delete my workspace?
Deletion happens right away and cannot be undone. Every document, deal, share link, template and upload is deleted, everyone is removed from the workspace, and share links stop working at once. A custom domain is released, and connected notetakers and Slack are disconnected. Copies in the daily database backups age out within seven days.
A paid subscription is canceled the same day, with no refund for the rest of the period. If the subscription cannot be canceled, nothing is deleted and you can try again.
- 1Export your data first if you want a copy.
- 2As the owner, go to Settings → Workspace and choose Delete workspace….
- 3Type the workspace name to confirm and choose Delete workspace.
How do I delete my account?
Your sign-in, profile and notification settings are deleted. A workspace where you are the only person is deleted with you, along with its subscription. In a workspace other people use, you are removed and your deals, documents and drafts are handed to the owner.
If you own a workspace other people use, hand it on with Make owner under Settings → Team first, or delete the workspace.
- 1Open Profile from the account menu.
- 2Under Delete your account, read what will happen to each of your workspaces, then choose Delete account….
- 3Type your email address to confirm and choose Delete account.
Sign-in options
Sign in with an email and password, or with Continue with Google. With Google, Veew receives only your name, email address and profile picture, and never asks for access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar or Contacts.
Single sign-on (SSO/SAML) and two-factor authentication are not available yet.
How do I report a security issue?
Email support@veew.ai, or use the contact form. Tell us straight away if you think your account has been compromised.
