Connect Read AI

Before you start

Read's API is on every Read plan, but a Read workspace admin has to have Downloads turned on under Workspace Settings → Reports & Sharing. If Veew says Read refused the connection, that switch is the reason; ask your admin and connect again.

There is no API key to copy. You sign in to Read from Veew and allow it to read your meetings; Veew never writes anything back and never sees your Read password.

Connect

1. 1In Veew, go to Settings → Integrations. Read AI is under Your connections: it is yours, not the workspace's, so every teammate connects their own. Choose Connect Read AI.
2. 2Sign in to Read if asked and allow Veew. You come straight back to Veew, and your last 14 days of customer calls start importing.

Live updates (Read Pro and up)

1. 1Webhooks are on Read's Pro, Enterprise and Enterprise+ plans. Without one, Veew still checks for new reports every few minutes when you use it and every night otherwise.
2. 2In Read, open Integrations → Your Integrations → Webhooks and add a webhook for the meeting_end event. Paste the webhook URL from the Read AI card in Veew as its URL and save.
3. 3Read shows the webhook a signing key. Copy it, paste it into the Read's signing key field on the Read AI card in Veew and choose Save key. Veew checks every delivery's signature against it; a webhook without the key is refused, so the two steps go together.

What Veew does with a call

Calls with someone from outside your company file themselves against the matching deal by the people and company on the invite; a call that does not match sits on Home until you attach it to a deal or dismiss it. Internal meetings are skipped.

Veew reads Read's report, the summary, action items, key questions and topics, never the recording or the transcript. Disconnecting removes Veew's access to your Read account; remove the webhook in Read yourself, and already-synced notes stay on their deals.
