Buyer reminders
Reminders are short notes from you that Veew sends to each person you sent a document to, if they go quiet. You approve the days and the words once per document, and Veew sends them on schedule, once a day. Reminders are on Team.
- 1Go live, then send the document from Veew: choose Share, open the Email tab, add each person and choose Send.
- 2Under the list of people you sent it to, switch Reminders on. It starts with three touches: day 2 if not opened yet, day 5 if opened but not accepted, and day 9 either way, each with a short note.
- 3Change the day, the condition or the note on any touch. Days count from when you sent the document, from 1 to 30, and each touch must come after the one before. Remove drops a touch, and + Add a touch adds one, up to three.
- 4Changes save as you make them, and Saved shows beside the switch. A note saves when you click away from its box.
When reminders stop
- Nobody gets a reminder after they accept, and none go to anyone once the document is accepted.
- Never two to the same person within 48 hours. If several touches are due at once, only the latest is sent.
- Nothing goes out once the link has expired, the document is set to draft or archived, or more than 45 days have passed since you sent it.
- Every reminder has a Stop these reminders link. A buyer who uses it gets no more, and their row shows stopped reminders.
- Switching Reminders off cancels everything still to come.
What the buyer receives
Each reminder comes from Veew on your behalf, as a reply to the document's subject. It contains your note, a View the proposal button with their own link, and the stop link. Replies come to you.
On the Email tab, each person's row shows how many reminders they have had and when the last one went, and Insights lists each one under Recent activity.
Draft a follow-up email
Draft a follow-up writes the email you would send after a buyer has read, or not read, your document. It is on the deal page once the deal has something live, and at the top of a document's Insights page until the document is accepted. Drafting reads the engagement, so it is on Starter and Team.
- 1Choose Draft a follow-up. The Follow-up email window opens and starts drafting straight away. From the deal page, it writes about the deal's most recently read live document.
- 2Read the Subject and Message and change anything you like. Redraft writes a fresh one. If you sent the document from Veew, To lists those people, and picking one redrafts the email for that person.
- 3Send it your way: Copy puts it on your clipboard, and Open in your email app starts it in your own mail. On Team, Send from Veew sends it to the person under To with their own link, and replies come to you.
What the draft uses
It works from what they read most and what they skipped, questions they asked that are still open, the package they chose, the deal intelligence brief and your brand's tone. It never makes up prices, dates or commitments, and it never quotes open counts or reading time back to the buyer. It ends with one simple ask.
Follow-up alerts
Veew watches every live link and tells you when one needs you:
- Went quiet: read, then no opens for 3 days or more, for up to two weeks.
- Not opened: live or sent for 2 days and not opened yet.
- Expiring: the link expires within 3 days.
- Deal revived: nothing on a deal (any of its documents or its deal space) was opened for 14 days or more, and then someone opens it. You hear about it the moment it happens.
Where alerts reach you
Alerts appear on Home under Needs you. Deal revived alerts are on Starter and Team only.
On Starter and Team you are also emailed, and told in Slack if it is connected. Went quiet, not opened and expiring emails go out once a day, at most once every five days per link. They follow the When a buyer opens a document setting under Profile → Notifications. The deal revived email is always sent.
